Wider Involvement
We have worked with and supported other regions around the country as well as national charities and organisations including the National End of Life Care Programme, National Council for Palliative Care and worked with media organisations including the BBC.
Becoming a National Resource (September 2008)
The End of Life Care Programme (DH) and the National Council for Palliative Care recognised the importance of the work of our East Midlands ADRT Team and appointed Dr Ben Lobo to be the national clinical lead to work with Sheila Joseph, national project manager to develop these resources at a national level. A consultation was performed with key representatives from clinical, ethical and legal professions / organisations supported by a committee of national experts.
